On Sunday, April 19th, 2026, the USA Dance (Youngstown Warren Chapter #2015) will take place at The Historic Avon Oakes Ballroom, at 1401 N. State Street Girard, Ohio. We welcome all dancers, enthusiasts, and supporters from near and far for an evening of Smooth, Latin and Club dancing.

The evening features ballroom dance lessons sponsored by Bob McPhail starting with a 5:00 pm Waltz Basics, a 5:30 pm Intermediate Lesson, followed by General Dancing, from 6:15 pm

to 9:00 pm. DJ Scott Coe will be playing a mix of Ballroom, Rhythm, Latin, Swing and Club Dance Music.

The Waltz is a timeless, elegant dance. Learning to Waltz will help you develop grace and poise through movement. It will also help improve your rhythm and timing, boost your confidence in social setting, and strengthen your connection with a partner through teamwork. Ballroom dancing is like a mini vacation where you forget all of life’s problems and transport you to just feeling your partner and being part of the music.

No Partner? No Problem! Dance is a fabulous journey; everyone is a beginner at one time, and we will work on the Basics starting at 5 pm. Our Second 5:30 lesson at 5:30 will be more advanced... just do what you can, do not sweat it and make new friends and we will have General Dancing to a full variety of genres till 9 pm.
