USA DANCE POLICIES

The purpose of USA Dance Policies is to provide its members a guide to decisions and achieve rational outcomes.

USA Dance Conflict of Interest Policy - USA Dance is committed to sustaining an ethical organization, free of conflicts of interest.

USA Dance Policy Governing National Elections - USA Dance conducts national elections bi-annually to ensure that qualified Officers are selected to represent the interest of USA Dance.

USA Dance Records Retention and Destruction Policy - This policy identifies the document and record retention responsibilities of staff, volunteers, GC members and outsiders for maintaining and documenting the storage and destruction of USA Dance's documents and records. 

USA Dance Code of Ethics and Conduct - This policy is intended to establish a set of principles and practices applicable to all members of USA Dance.

USA Dance Grievance Procedures - The Ethics Committee is response to ensure that all complaints are heard in a timely, fair and impartial manner.

USA Dance Policy on SafeSport - This policy applies to all USA Dance Officers, Directors, employees, officials, coaches and any other individuals who are in authority over or have contact with athletes. (Policy being updated)

USA Dance Use of Member Personally Identifiable Information - USA Dance members submit personally identifiable information (PII) trusting that USA Dance will protect it and not share it inappropriately.

USA Dance Tax Exempt Compliance Policy - Guidelines to keeping Chapter activities tax exempt.

USA Dance Policy on CleanSport - This policy applies to all USA Dance Officers, Athletes, Officials, coaches and any other athlete support personnel. (Policy being updated)

USA Dance Alcohol and Smoking Policy - Guidelines for use of alcohol and smoking at events. 

USA Dance Position Description Guidelines  - USA Dance guidelines describing preferred qualifications for individuals filling governance roles within the organization.

USA Dance Bequest Compliance Policy- Guidelines to follow to accept and encourage bequests and donations.

USA Dance Trip and Travel Policy - This policy applies to all USA Dance Officers, Directors, employees and any other individual who travels for or on behalf of USA Dance for approved business purposes.
