Welcome to The Greater Daytona Chapter 6026 of USA Dance. We offer a variety of programs and events to help spread the JOY OF BALLROOM DANCE throughout our community. We organize a weekly dance lesson every Wednesday at the Daytona Beach Shores Community Center and a monthly social dance preceded by a lesson taught by a local dance instructor at Purposeful Hall at the KEDA Dance Plex. Chapter members also present dance demonstrations in hospitals, nursing homes, retirement centers, schools, shopping malls and other public places and seek to educate the public regarding the social and health benefits of ballroom dancing.
Our mission is to improve the quality and quantity of dancing in the greater Daytona area, to promote dancing in Volusia County, and to help interested individuals connect with the dance community.
The Greater Daytona Chapter is not affiliated with any dance school or studio and is open to dancers of all ages and abilities. Partnering with local studios and independent instructors, our goal is to introduce a growing number of people to ballroom dance taught by well-qualified instructors. Come join us and come dance with us!

Some more experienced dancers volunteer their time to help review what you've learned during the Monday night classes. Or you can be on your own and practice as you wish.
*If you pre-pay for the full Beginner series for the month at Greater Daytona Chapter-sponsored beginner group classes on the first Monday of the month, your entry to Thursday night practice is free for the month following our Monday night chapter-sponsored beginning group lesson.
But, you don't have to be a member of USA Dance and you don't have to take private or group lessons at Gold Star to participate in Thursday night practice. Practice night is open to the general public. This is your time to PRACTICE for only $5.00 per person, if your entry is not free.
