National DanceSport Championships 2021

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: National DanceSport Championships 2021 Announcement

Delaware - In response to the current COVID-19 Public Health restrictions around travel, lodging, dining, and gathering limitations and the likelihood that they will not be dramatically altered between now and April, the Board of Director for USA Dance voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the DanceSport Council and cancel the 2021 USA Dance National DanceSport Championships scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia in April. Instead, the 2021 USA Dance National DanceSport Championships will take place at three separate events in the fall including:

Carolina Fall Classic DanceSport Championships
October 1^st to the 3^rd
Charlotte, North Carolina

America DanceSport Festival
October 8^th to the 10^th
Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Chicago DanceSport Challenge
November 5^th to the 7^th
Chicago, Illinois

More information concerning this change, including qualification requirements to compete and which specific National Championship Events will take place over at each of the three competitions will be released later. We strongly encourage all DanceSport and Social Dance members to take part in these great events as competitors and spectators.
