Dean was employed at the world-famous Blackpool Dance Festival from 2003-2009 as the competitor’s liaison officer.

He is a licentiate of the International Dance Teachers Association in England.  In both International Ballroom and Latin styles, and an examiner in Rhythm, Smooth and International styles with DVIDA Teachers Society in the United States.

Dean has been recognized y the American Guild of Musical Artist as having exceptional ability within his field.

In 2009, Dean was invited to the USA by the president of Arthur Murray, John Kimmins, to coach students and staff of the Arthur Murray Organization. 

In 2013, Dean helped grow a programme in Manatee County offering ballroom to young dancers, the programme continues to thrive and now has over 600 students involved.
