I  served as the Social Dance Vice President for five from 2008- 2017.

Programs I implemented during that time:

1) Initiated the National Chapter Conference which provided leadership skills to the officers and board members of USA Dance chapters. I have organized the conferences, working with the hotels and USA Dance officers to make sure we offer the best and most up to date information on USA Dance policies and practices. Six National Conferences were held from 2009- 2014.

2) I introduced USA Dance logo brand items for the membership and uniformed chapter banners for a more cohesive look among the chapters. They are currently in the online store up that I have continued to run by ordering banners and shipping merchandise orders.

3) I volunteered and organized numerous National Dance cruises as a fundraising opportunity for USA Dance. This included hiring instructors, lining up volunteers, working with the ship staff, creating the workshop schedules, ordering goody bag items for the cruisers, instituting the dance host program for single ladies and sending out emails and posting on Facebook, writing articles for American Dancer magazine to create the interest and make the cruises successful.

4)  I have attended numerous Region/District President meetings as the National Representative providing input and solidarity to the chapter members and represented USA Dance at Special Chapter events around the country.

5) I continue to organize the largest and best attended Social Dance workshop/leadership weekends for Florida  (open to all) USA Dance Chapters since 2001.
