- Core member of the Heartland Chapter competition committee. The Heartland chapter hosted approximately 20 competitions between 1995 and 2013, including the 1998 National Championships.
- Co-founder (1995) of the Big Ballroom Bash (501.c.3) running 1995-current. The Bash is an annual fundraiser bringing together a variety of dance studios and clubs to raise money for dance causes. For the last 10 years the funds have been used to teach Special Olympics athletes to dance; give them an opportunity to perform; prepare them for a competition; and fund their entry fees into this “special needs” competition held by the Fort Wayne (Indiana) USA Dance chapter.
