Valdimir Karpov

I am an experienced and savvy leader with strong industry acumen across multiple facets of DanceSport. As a child growing up in Russia, DanceSport had a profound impact on me. When I started competing at age 7, I gained a sense of purpose as a student, athlete and leader. I have since focused both my academic and professional career studying the intersection of DanceSport, art and enterprise. I learned valuable lessons about collaboration, dedication, expression and leadership. At the peak of my competitive career, I took to heart the visibility and recognition from others. My accomplishments not only became a core part of my identity, they also instilled a deeper sense of responsibility to further advance DanceSport for future generations.
