We're celebrating 5 Saturdays in January with... a 5th Saturday dance! On Jan. 31, of course, and we'll be celebrating it by dancing on the fantastic floor at the Newport News Moose Lodge (#1119), for the very first time (this year)! Since it's a 5th Saturday, we have to go a bit crazy, so we'll be having a lesson in Polka (one of the best dances out there, according to some people who are writing dance event updates right now), 7-8 PM, and we're going one (triple) step further by welcoming a new instructor to USA Dance Williamsburg - intergalactic Country champion Emily Drinkall (sometimes listed as an international Country champion, but everyone knows that Earth has the best Country dancers, so we're staking the larger claim). And how could we possibly come up with music to match all of that, for ballroom dancing from 8-10 PM? If you guessed master DJ Alan Hedgpeth, you would be 100% right! This is a dance you *don't* want to miss (unless you just don't like happiness, in which case definitely skip this one).

• 7:00 - 8:00 PM - Polka dance lesson by Emily Drinkall
• 8:00 - 10:00 PM - great dancing to music by DJ Alan Hedgpeth

• Students with student ID: $5

Light snacks will be provided. Note that this venue does not allow outside drinks, but water and soda will be available for sale.
