Donna Boyle will teach the Hustle for the Intermediate lesson (6 - 6 45 pm). Dr. George Davis will teach the Bolero for the Beginner Lesson ( 6 45 - 7 30 pm). Start looking for your polka dot dress/shirt/tie (socks?) - we're having a Polka Party February 1st. The Beginner lesson will be the Polka and we will have two polkas during the night but the rest of the open dance will be our usual ballroom/club/Latin dances

wrote on the Chapter: DE Valley, PA - #3012 wall: Starting this Sunday, May 4, 2025, Alan Saperstein & partner Mary Capurso teach Intermediate West Coast Swing from 6 - 6 45 pm. Alan makes a point of teaching lead-follow-able patterns and provides clear instruction and hints to ensure success. He and Mary also include styling suggestions to take your dance to the next level. Alan will teach West Coast Swing all month but he teaches a different pattern every week so come to all the lessons you can. Generally, Dr. George Davis teaches the beginner lesson that immediately follows (6 45 - 7 30 pm) - a different dance each week. For May, the dances are: East Coast Swing (May 4), Salsa (May 11), Bachata (May 18), and Country 2 Step (May 25, taught by Alan Saperstein). The open to the public dance begins at 7 30 and continues until 10 pm. Come dance with us! [Partners welcome but are not required]

Then we'll have the Beginner Lesson [East Coast Swing] 6 45 - 7 30 pm] followed by the open to the public dance until 10 pm. $10 for the beginner lesson, dance, Chinese food, snacks, homemade chocolate chip cookies and hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages.
