Please join us for ballroom dancing in a friendly and informal setting welcoming to beginners, experienced, singles and couples, Sundays, 5:30pm.
We host four monthly dances on Sundays held upstairs at the Vet's Club, 1626 Willamette St., Eugene, OR based on this schedule:
1st and 3rd Sundays Lesson and Social Dance - 5:30 - 8 pm
We welcome both our older dance community -- and our new, younger dancers.
5:30-6:00 pm Technique lesson (varies. Beginner to intermediate)
6:00-8:00 pm ~ Ballroom Social Dance with Mixer • DJ: 1010 Dance Team
$8 non-members • $6 members • $5 students with ID
2nd Sundays Lessons and Social Dance - 5:30 - 9 pm
5:30pm to 5:55pm Beginner Lesson
6:00pm to 6:50pm Intermediate Lesson
7:00pm to 9:00pm Open Dancing: We encourage experienced dancers to join the beginner lesson to help and support new attendees.
$10 for non-members (cash or checks please)
$7 for members
$5 for students with current ID
4th Sundays Social Dance - 5:30 - 7:30 pm
5:30 - 7:30 pm. open dancing (no lesson) to DJ music
$2 -- $15 sliding scale for all.
5th Sundays Lesson and Social Dance - 5:30 - 8:00 pm
5:30 - 7:30 pm. open dancing and 30 min. lesson to DJ music
$2 -- $15 sliding scale for all.
Please wear non-scuffing shoes to enjoy and protect the beautiful wooden dance floor. No partner needed, singles are welcome.
About
We dance to DJ music and a variety of dance steps, including Waltz, Fox Trot, several Latin, West Coast and East Coast swing dances and more.
USA Dance is a volunteer membership organization. A local board of volunteers meets monthly to support the community's dancing needs. Thank you to all who have supported USA Dance in Eugene. We can always use more help. If you would like to volunteer
