DANCE SCHEDULE for 2026:  The new Board is excited to be working behind the scenes to rebuild USA Dance Grand Strand 6024.   up to be on our emails list at USADanceGrandStrand@gmail.com to learn of our upcoming events and what is happening in our dance community. Dances are held at the Robert Reed Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Lane, Myrtle Beach starting at 5:30 lesson, 6:15 dancing on the 3rd Saturday of the month

ABOUT OUR CHAPTER:.  

Chapter 6024 of USA Dance, formerly the United States Amateur Ballroom Dance Association (USABDA), received their charter in 1992 and services the greater Myrtle Beach, SC area consisting of Horry County and surrounding counties.

Our purpose is to promote the growth of ballroom dancing as well as other social dances as a lifetime recreational and social activity. We strive to educate the public regarding the physical, mental and social benefits of ballroom dancing. In support of this goal, we provide affordable opportunities to participate in ballroom dance as well as support the community in other social dances.

Our Ballroom dances are held monthly. Our dances are smoke-free and are usually held at either the Myrtle Beach Reed Recreation Center or the Carolina Forest Recreation Center. Contact us at USADanceGrandStrand@gmail.com for time and location. Attire is usually dressy casual, but no jeans, sneakers or shorts, please. Men are not required to wear jackets and ties. Ladies generally wear dance attire. Singles and couples are welcome.

Admission to the monthly dance is $ 11.00 per person for USA Dance members (member ID required) and $ 16.00 per person for non-members. Dances are always the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Robert Reed Rec Ctr. Starting with a lesson at 5:30pm followed by the dance at 6:15pm. You are encouraged to bring a snack to share.

USA DANCE is a volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization serving as the National Governing Body for Dancesport in the USA - Member of the International Dance Sport Federation(IDSF) and an Affiliate Member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC)
