Monthly Dances:
NOTE: April Dance Will Be on the SECOND SUNDAY of April!!

Yes, our April dance is on the second Sunday of the month - Easter is the first Sunday of April this year!

"Dance into Spring" is the theme for our April dance. Doors open at 1:30pm. Starting at 2pm there will be a 45-minute lesson in Foxtrot taught by Bonnie Morisset. The dance will start at 2:45pm (immediately following the lesson) and last until 4:45pm.

Location: The Gym at the Chisholm Center, 520 S. Clara Avenue, DeLand FL 32720
Admission: $10 for USA Dance members, $12 for non-members, $8 for students with a student ID. Cash or check only please, no credit cards accepted at this time.

Many thanks to Tiffany Brackett from Champion Dance Studio for the wonderful Bachata lesson at our March dance. Tiffany and several of the students from Champion Dance Studio performed a Bachata formation routine during the intermission / announcements - what a treat! Thank you Champion Dance Studio!

Weekly Group Dance Classes:
Our chapter sponsored group dance classes are on Monday evenings in one of the meeting rooms at the Chisholm Center, 520 S. Clara Avenue, DeLand FL 32720. These classes are open to the public; you do not have to be a member of USA Dance Blue Springs chapter to participate in these classes. There are 3 separate, 45-minute classes. Fee is $6 for one class or $10 for 2 classes.

- Basics class: This class is for everyone! Learn easy patterns and amalgamations that fit more than one dance. This class also focuses on floor craft and "do's and don't's" of the dance floor. Great "refresher" class for those who've been away from the dance floor for awhile. Class starts at 6:30 pm.

- Improver class: Each lesson focuses on a single dance. Class starts at 7:15 pm.
